Good Morning!!
I know it’s not quite midnight in the states, but it’s almost 8 a.m. here and we’re getting ready to head off on our 3 day safari. We’ll be going to Ngorngoro Crater as well as the Serengeti Plain, so I’m sure we’ll see lots of extraordinary things!! I’ll try to get some snaps of flamingos for you, Leah! I forgot to mention yesterday that we’ve also experienced another new thing for us: earthquake tremors. As we were sitting in the churchyard after lunch on Sunday, we all thought someone was standing behind us shaking our chairs and many of us turned to look. Then we all realized at the same time what was happening. It wasn’t a huge tremor, but could definitely be felt. One of our hosts said, “See, God is telling us this is an earthshaking event to have you here!!!”  When I got up yesterday morning, my host son asked if I’d felt the two tremors in the night. I hadn’t, but several in our group did (I guess I was really zonked!!). I must get to breakfast now so I won’t miss the bus!! God bless all of you!!!!! Asante!!
